Q & A

Q: Will formal invitations be sent?
A: No. We are only mailing save the dates and ask that you visit the wedding website for all details.

Q: What are the wedding week dates?
A: Tyler and Kathryn will be at La Torre di Pila from September 14th to 20th.  We encourage guests to come by the Villa for drop in visits to say hello! Please text us if you have plans to come by. We will also have a welcome party (details to follow).

Q: Where do we fly into?
A: We are recommending flying into Rome for the connivence of direct flights from the United States then renting a car or taking the train to Perugia. There are also flights available directly into Perugia.

Q: What is the dress code for pre wedding events?
A: Smart Casual – refers to a dress code that balances professional appearance with casual comfort, incorporating trendy pieces

like a blazer, dressy shoes, well-fitted jeans, nice sweaters, or tailored trousers, allowing for a polished look without being overly formal.

Q: What is the Dress Code for the wedding?
A: Semi formal- attire is a dress code that falls between casual and formal wear, meaning it’s more dressed up than everyday clothes but not as fancy as a full tuxedo or evening gown; typically including cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, tailored suits, and blazers with dress pants.

Q: What type of weather can be expected?
A: In mid-September in Perugia, Italy, you can expect mild weather with warm sunny days and pleasantly cool nights; typically with highs around the low 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

Q: When will Tyler and Kathryn be traveling to Italy?
A: Tyler and Kathryn plan to arrive in Italy the week before the wedding week. We will arrive at La Torre di Pila Sunday September 14th.

Q: Where should we stay?
A: We recommend to stay in Perugia or in the countryside outside Pila. Please see hotels page for accommodation suggestions.

Q: Will there be transportation to the wedding from Perugia to the Villa in Pila?
A: Yes. We will have shuttles the day of the wedding

Q: Will I need extra documents to travel to Italy?
A: Yes. In addition to your passport, there is a new visa travel requirement for people traveling from the United States to Italy. This is not a traditional visa, but must be applied for before you leave for Italy. For more details please see HERE

Q: What is the Jubilee?

A: The Jubilee is a Catholic holy year that takes place in Rome every 25 years, and is a time for spiritual renewal, forgiveness, and pilgrimage. This will mean that Italy, but especially Rome will be very busy, with large crowds. Our suggestion is to book ahead of time your travel especially if you will be traveling through Rome. A: Please RSVP as soon as you can so we can make the appropriate arrangements for the wedding
